  Great little shop! We got the the 2/$25 deal for snorkel gear. It wasn't the best equipment, but it was great for what we paid. It was nice to not feel pressured to use it everyday to get our money's worth like on previous trips. The highlight of this shop is the staff. There was a wonderful young woman who helped us and shared lots of great tips about the island, beaches and snorkeling. She was a gem and the main reason I took the time to write a review. Definitely worth checking out if you're in Kona. I love to support small businesses who do business well.

  Do not rent anything from this place. The shop sells sunscreen and surf equipment, which is fine. But whatever you rent, you rent at your own risk. We rented two boogie boards for the week. Unlike most places, there was no paperwork except a an old fashioned carbon copy of your credit card and request for your phone number and name. When we went to return our boards or let day before or flight, the place wasn't yet open. As there was no do off spot, I tucked the board at the side of the building. I called when the store was open. The woman said I should have known the opening time and if not, I should have returned the boards to the security guard. Although the boards were fine, Miller's charged a 25% penalty fee! I explained I was never informed of this policy, and that while I understood surfing me for missing or damaged boards, I shouldn't be fined when there was no written agreement. The woman became extremely nasty on the phone. Everything else in Hawai'i was amazing but Miller's left a sour taste in my mouth.
